Postcard From Cannes - Part Five
Part of: Hollywood , LA , TravelOne of the coolest things during the Cannes Film Festival is the cinema on the beach. They usually play classic films in French and have DJ's. The closest thing we have to that in L.A. is Cinespia, which I've been attending for the last few years. (For pictures: go here.) I usually go a few times each year because Cinespia has become very popular and you end up waiting to get into the gates of The Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Also, I only go for the films that I really want to watch. One of my grandmother’s is buried at the cemetery so it’s always nice to visit her grave and then watch a classic film that she might have watched.
