Nicole Richie and Rachel Zoe deserve each other. Obviously, the lack of protein and carbs in their diets is affecting their judgment. Yesterday, Rachel made a statement that considering her success, seemed ludicrous. It's not like all of her celeb clients are going to drop her now that Nicole has.

"There has been a lot of speculation as to the cause of my parting with client Nicole Richie. The tabloid reports have no merit. After trying to be a good friend to Nicole, we made a mutual decision to sever our working relationship. Changes are inevitable in any business relationship. I am very fortunate to have such a wonderful life, I have been married for 10 years and have been a stylist for more than 15 years and am lucky to work with such a diverse group of women of all shapes and sizes that inspire me everyday. I have nothing but love for Nicole and wish her only health and happiness."

It would be interesting to know the normal weight clients that Zoe works with. The above statement is defensive and the fact that Zoe feels the need to say how happy she is means that she's not. She would have come off a lot better had she not said anything. Nicole has fought back (I don't know why because she was the client) and issued this nice blind item on her MySpace page:

BLIND ITEM: What 35 year old raisin face whispers her order of 3 peices of asparagus for dinner at Chateau everynight, and hides her deathly disorder by pointing the finger at me, and used her last paycheck I wrote her to pay for a publisist instead of a nutritionist?

HINT: Her nickname is lettucecup…

That's funny and all but it's a tad hypocritical considering that Nicole has an addiction of some kind. I wish that someone could answer these questions: How long will this catfight go on for? Will it outlast Paris and Nicole's friendship? Why does Rachel Zoe look 45 and why doesn't she use botox? Why did she and Nicole have to break up before going to MOCA's Skin + Bones (see picture of Zoe below right) opening together so I could write a snappy title?
